It is that time of the year again when all we can think of is the splendour and wonder of it all as you graduate. Praise be to God! We celebrate you this day because of the milestone you have achieved. See how far God has brought you. Indeed, Yahweh is His name! Please go ahead and take pride in how far you have come. As Pelé would put it, “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. Congratulations for gloriously succeeding on purpose, for it has proudly allowed us to rejoice with you on this momentous occasion.

In the class of 2022 about 100 Daystar University students benefited from the various Daystar Scholarship programmes. In the class of 2023, the Lord graciously enabled the university to support over 150 students through their academic journey.

We acknowledge the efforts of our Vice Chancellor, Daystar US office, and the Resource Mobilization Office for their relentless support in fundraising for needy students at Daystar. Further, we appreciate all our donors, both local and international. Thank you all for your unrelenting efforts to give hope in situations that may seem hopeless.

We are grateful to God for enabling us be instrumental towards your academic success. As you go into the world, may the Lord grant you sufficient grace and the tenacity to be a legacy of light wherever you will be. We look forward to celebrating the impact you will make in the market place over the next two decades. As you come back to be honoured in 2043, we hope you will bring back sweet memories as you support your alma mater with student mentorship and scholarships. To whom much is given, much is required.
