Meanwhile, Daystar City and Main Campus Falcons are gearing up for the upcoming Kenya University Sports Association (KUSA-NN) Nairobi North Conference League. In preparation for the league, Daystar City players travelled to Athi-river for a football training camp. The reason was to keep the players fit and ready for the just started league.

Both teams have been equipped with a gym, which they aim to use to combat the physicality of the league while also keeping fit. Despite the healthy rivalry between the two teams, both are committed to succeeding in the KUSA league. This was showcased in their previous inter-campus derby where both teams displayed great sportsmanship and determination.
